The best part of this little summary of Roald Dahl's new hotness in the movie realm is that Robert Altman may be producing and directing a series of Dahl's adult short stories for TV. (If the concept of 'adult Roald Dahl' blows your mind, please procure a copy of Switch Bitch immediately.)
Posted by Bill Stilwell at November 22, 2004 08:59 AMHave you read "My uncle Oswald"? Hilarious, and oh so sick.
Posted by: alexis on November 22, 2004 9:17 AMYes! Also highly recommended! The more I think about this, the more I hope this project gets off the ground. The only question is: who do you cast as Uncle Oswald?
Posted by: Bill Stilwell on November 22, 2004 9:59 AMRoald Dahl is a fine writer! Kid stuff, adult stuff, memoirs, short stories, all fantastic. He is great because he writes a good story AND he's a word lover. And he has that bit of a cruel streak that you need to be truly funny or interesting or kind.
